We will only disclose your personal information if required by law; Disclosure is required for the completion of transaction; or If you give us your express consent to disclose the information.
Regular auditing of Personal Information
Information will be kept until it is outdated or no longer required, after which time it will be destroyed or permanently de-identified.
Sentinel regularly reviews files and destroys or deletes personal information that is no longer required.
Storage of your personal information
The information submitted may be stored inside databases accessible by employees who have a need to know such information.
All Sentinel employees and its contractors follow a company wide security policy.
Only authorised Sentinel personnel are provided access to personally identifiable information and these employees have agreed to ensure confidentiality of this information.
Access and correction
Sentinel will take reasonable steps to ensure that the information we collect, hold and use is accurate and up to date.
You may request your personal information, to do so you should contact our Privacy Officer who will need to verify your identity before processing your request (Sentinel may impose a moderate charge to cover the cost of providing the personal information).
Sentinel may seek to rely upon the exceptions contained in the Privacy Act 1988 to refuse access to part of your personal information, but in such circumstances will provide you with written reasons for doing so.
